Capron and the late Charles A. Capron, who died at the family borne, 203 West Seneca street, Monday evening, was held this morning at 9 o'clook at the home and half an hour later at St. Mary's church. The Rev. David C. Gildea, assistant pastor, officiated at the requiem mass and the Rev. Joseph Hopkins was in the sanctuary. There were many floral tributes from relatives and friends of the young man.

The bearers were: Walter S. Gibson, Albert F. Rogers, Royce Sampierre, Thomas Burke, Donald Dahner and Ralph Smith. Interment was in the family plot in St. Peter's cemetery.

     Biographical Notes for Osmond Capron: LAKE SAILOR HURT BY A FORTY FOOT FALL

Osmond Capron, son of Mrs. Laura Capron, of West Seneca street, is convalescing from injuries, and a resulting fever, sustained from, a forty foot fall from the steamer Hemlock at Fort William, on Lake Superior, two weeks ago. He returned home two days ago with a fever of 104 degrees with which he traveled all the way from Chicago to Oswego.

The accident occured in a snow storm, when the boat was clearing from a dock at Fort William. Capron was pulling a 30 foot ladder aboard as the boat moved away and was hurled
overboard. He was rescued from the of Superior and left the
boat at Chicago, from where he returned by rail. In falling he injured his leg and blood poisoning set in the wound, causing a bad infection. He is reported improving nicely, but not yet out of danger. He had been sailing on the steamer all season.
