Elijah Capron, (1742-1813), served as sergeant in Capt. Stephen Richardson's company of minute men at the Lexington and Rhode Island Alarms. He was second lieutenant 1779 in the Fourth Bristol county regiment. He was born and died in Attleboro.3 Edith Capron Watson's DAR National number is 38490.3 Her married name was Briggs. Her married name was Richards.
